(This letter was sent to Chris Whitfield before publication)
For all what you and your liberal views stand for, and against so-called Black opinions on race you don't seem the same vulture with a huge appetite for carrion over the Bullard issue.
Or is it the issue that since your dear leader, Helen Zille is not driving it you and your newspaper group see nothing wrong with being as silent as church mice on the matter?
How come you have not seen the case against Black people by Bullard in the same light as your concocted case against Coloureds was? But like I told you before and will aways tell you, you serve as a mouth piece for the Democratic Alliance which is your democratic right but don't go about fooling the people that you are reporting in the public interest.
You have taught me a lot that what you do is no different to what party journalists in Zimbabwe do for ZANU(P.F.). Before you burst into my presence with your lies about where the story about Coloureds originated I assumed White journalists didn't have agendas, like those of Blacks seeking improvements in the lives of the generality of the people.
I thought guys like were "clean" of these agendas which serve as the ideology of your reportage. But I now know as well as you did then, that, it was at best lack of understanding of you as a professional.
You are steeped deeply and unequivocally in the desire to preserve whatever it is you think should be preserved about the culture and cultural beliefs of your people, in the same way as say Jacob Zuma is in his.
But you always hide behind the little fingure of freedom of the press isn't it in order to justify why you are doing what you are doing! When John Scott wrote some racist drivel about myself and my relationship with the Japanese I sent him an e-mail and pointed out how racist his piece was. Remember Japan is seven hours ahead of the GMT. So I saw it first after he simply uploaded it the same way Bullard did.
The next thing the piece had been removed and edited (ask him). I was not driven by a desire for revenge (I could have copied and taken the stuff to the Human Rights Commission-but I don't respect Jody Kollapen's decisions) but wanted to point out to him that he was as are guilty of the same things you and your newspaper so self-righteously accused me of.
There are many people out there who don't know we met at Five Flies and that I gave you my web address and the circumstances around it. Don't you think you should let on what happened? After all local government elections are not the issue any more or are you strategising for the national elections next year?
You mobilised the Coloured clegy, the Jewish Board of Deputies, Allan Boesak and in fact many other clowns but I don't see you and your reporters doing it this time around! Where are all your white columnists who serve as judge and jury this time around? For example where is Allister Sparks on this issue? What happened to the self-opinionated John Scott? What about Max (I'm an African) du Preeze whose commentary on the matter was like that of a someone choking from what we call in Shona "mbwirembwire?" Don't like white meat? Not even fish? Rich.
Yours with more truths about your case BN
